This cinema offers several rather small theatres. I rather like the more cozy ambience although I also love the spacious cinemas from the "golden age" of the 1920s and 30s, like the Castro Theatre in San Francisco and the Paramount and Grand Lake in Oakland. Truth be told, tiny movie houses are probably the only way that cinemas like the Landmark Opera Plaza and the Roxie can screen great foreign and indy films and still make a profit.
