I think kids can get their own library card that is under their parents account. The parent needs to be there to set up the account, but after that the kid is able to check out on their own

U don't need a parent or guardian as long as u have a library card to check out books, movies etc, but if ur card is limited on internet access u do need ur parent present to give u permission with the librarian for internet access, ok.anylne can check out books, u just need a library card.
