LA's oldest & 1st HD dealership. Still family owned & operated by them daily. After 50+ years of doing business here I continue to do so. Nobodys perfect, but they have always done right by me. Honest & trustworty means everything to me. The technicians are outstanding and meticulous. Ask an honest question and you'll get an honest answer. These are good people. They do it right or they won't do it at all. I truly appreciate that, because my 2 wheel life depends on it. Ride safe, ride proud, ride HD.
yes , i was there as a shopper from Australia in 1981 , it was a nice old school shop. They had a salesman Bob Forrest and they also ran an acc,y business at the rear called motor cycle goodies, great crew, regards col macauley
Its still the laidlaws who run the HD dealership... bob, scott, amd matt there there dad
I really liked Scotty in the parts dept. He was always helpful and was more like a friend than just a parts man. That was many years ago.
The day I bought my Ultra Classic Laidlaw was my first stop of three. I walked around the show room for fifteen minutes, didn't see anything I liked. No one ever asked me if I needed help. The day I bought my Kendon I went to Laidlaw told the salesman I found the trailer for $1900 and I would rather buy it from them if he match that price. He looked through his book and quoted me $2500. I had to drive back to New Port Beach to buy my trailer. Only thing I like about Laidlaw is Bob. Bob is one cool guy.
I agree.. Miss them too.... We all have to evolve I guess.
