So much fun. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for next year. You simply cannot overdressed here at the Faire, so bring out your best costumes, the more the better. The Faire is well organized, informative. I loved everything, even the very little details, the very small shows and talks on the side walk, not just on the bigger stages. Well done.
Something Morbid
A nice way to spend Easter sunday. I had a lot of fun I do wish there was more shade though. Security was courtious and professional. Staff entertaining, informative and pleasant. It was a fun laid back , you did not need a costume to enjoy it, no one treated people differenly for not having one. Though those who did and were inclined to play along always had someone willing to join in on it. My buddy found another plague doc looking for a local Apothecary , and I had someone offer me double whatever I was being paid. Wise choise as either way I would be seeing him later. Just kidding of course <.< >.> Their website is a bit confusing. In the end it was mostly my fault I did not pay attention and bought vip parking for the next avaible sunday(easter sunday was full up when I went to pay). On top of skiping the insurace you can buy least you have to cancle you can get most of your money back.
Personality X.
Amazing and fun! They have plenty of shows, awesome artisans, and a place to let your freak flag fly...that is family friendly of course! I would say give it a go and have some fun! If you are going to go to the Gyro food hut they Take cash only. I would strongly suggest trying the Athenian pita! There's all sorts of musical acts. I would suggest to check out seraphim arabesque. They perform 3 times a day. That also have different games such as archery, throwing a toy cat and winning a prize, and more They also have plenty of Arts and crafts opertunity for children such as viking weaving Give this place ago just to be cultured!

I would like to encourage everyone to attend the Renaissance Pleasure Fair. Such a beautiful day at the park! Great first weekend at the fair. Compliments to the entire staff, actors and all the talented fine arts and crafts vendors .

They have to be non opened bottles. Water and side is $3 a bottle
Pirate Weekend is April 20 & 21, 2019. http://renfair.com/socal/special-events/
30.00 to get in and 10 for parking and the food is ridiculously priced but yet they don't allow you to bring food in
The Santa Fe Dam opens at 9 a.m. for parking. The Box Office also opens at 9 a.m. for ticket purchasing needs. The Faire is open 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Jason, get your hands stamped on the way out for same-day re-entry. Children age 4 and younger are always free. Shelley, the Uber and Lyft pick-up and drop-off point is just outside the Faire gates. Drivers do not need to pay the Santa Fe Dam vehicle access fee.
Buying at fair will usually run you more then just buying a costume. I reccomend looking around thrift near Halloween time and Halloween stores the week after Oct, for the most savings.
You can park your RV for the day that you are going to attend the faire, but you cant hook up your RV to camp there.
Yes, we're fully accessible but please know that we're located in the middle of a dirt/sand/grass field. It is flat but difficult terrain.
Mostly, yes. Some merchants accept credit cards, but all food and beverage is cash only.
Costume weapons are permitted as long as they are sheathed and peace-tied. Our team can assist you in peace-tying your weapon at the gate.
Your welcome, hope you have fun
Children age 5 - 12 require a child ticket to enter. Adult rate tickets are for ages 13+. Yes, get a hand stamp at the gate for same-day re-entry.
So, you pay 10 dollars to park, 30 dollars to get in, 18 dollars for lunch, and if you want to buy anything.....well lets just say, bring about 500.00 dollars....it's gotten pretty sleazy. I've been going for 40 years and now I'm not going anymore.
Yeet
No. We do not have any partner hotels or shuttles.
Yes, and you are correct. All weapons must be sheathed and peace tied to your person at all times.

the metro from San Diego to dwntwn LA, then the metro line 2 Irwindale station & uber takes you into the Santa Fe Damn Ren site. It's best way with no car.....then you can try to find friends who want to go with you, all can pay towards gas with someone that doesn't mind driving all of you.
Yes I saw at least 2 places that you can use and it seems almost everyone is more than happy to help you with a picture for your phone. Also they have the cut outs for the public to use. Have a good time
There is a ride-share drop off point located near the front gate of the Faire. The LA Parks District has assured us that if the driver shows the ride-share app in progress they will waive the $10 access fee. If you are walking to the Faire (say from the bus stop located outside the Santa Fe Dam) then you will not pay a fee to enter. The $10 fee is a vehicle access fee only.
We're open Saturdays and Sundays now through May 19, 2019. Our theme weekends can be found here: http://renfair.com/socal/special-events/
Yes! Get your hand stamped at the gate for same day reentry.
They are not. We do not have any retail locations this year. We are looking for new business partners for future seasons!
Same price...$12.00
Tickets purchased at the box office using any kind of coupon are only valid for the day they are purchased. Full price tickets can be used any operating day. So, yes, if you purchase full price admission tickets at the box office then you can use them any operating day that season.

Correct. We fire black powder guns. For the safety of your pets, please leave them at home.
Yes, it is most definitely encouraged. Have fun!

Santa Fe Dam retains all fees for access. The Renaissance Pleasure Faire has no control over access pricing. A Park attendant will collect your access fee. There is no additional charge for parking on top of what the Dam requires. General parking is estimated anywhere from 300 to 2500 feet away from the front gate. Handicapped parking is available, please have your placard displayed so attendants can direct you to a close parking location. Admission price includes all entertainment: the Joust, 4 parades, over 2,000 performers, music, dance, interactive living history exhibits, craft demonstrations and the battle pageant. Select lessons, activities, and pageants for children are also included.
This is a seasonal event. It runs seven weekends, April-May... You would be very disappointed if you went in December.
I believe they allow only service animals at the Faire.
Wait until day you attend, traffic is bad. You could climb the rock dam 😉
Hello! The LA Parks District says that the vehicle access fee to enter the Santa Fe Dam is only waived for vehicles that can show proof of ride-share (like Lyft or Uber). Please understand that the Faire does not receive any of the vehicle access fees. That money goes directly to the LA Parks District. We apologize for the inconvenience. It would be best to pick up your tickets on the day you plan to attend the Faire.
The Renaissance Pleasure Faire is open rain or shine for all your revelry related needs!
Triple A members save $1 off the box office price!
Adult Single Day is $29.95, Child Single Day (Ages 5-12) is $15 and children 4 & younger are free. Admission price includes all entertainment: the Joust, 4 parades, over 2,000 performers, music, dance, interactive living history exhibits, craft demonstrations and the battle pageant. The $60 for 2 adults entry fee will include all the shows, entertainment, and siteseeing. Game boots charge nominal fees to play the games that are fun depending on which ones you like to try. You obviously will need to pay for your foods n drinks n any souvenirs you choose to buy. There are comedy shows, juggling, sword fighting, jousting, song n dance, and more. There is a parade that is very fun to watch the participants all dressed up going through the village. Go check it out and have fun.
Yes, it's worth $15 for your child to go. The food was $5-10 or so and is very good. Games run about $5, but aren't necessary for a fun day. Souvenirs at the various booths are pricey, but again you don't have to buy them to have fun. The shows are all included in the price and are all fantastic. Remember $10 for parking. We had a great day when we went.
Yes, medically necessary food is happily allowed in the park!
Adult tickets are $28.50, and children ages 5-12 are $13. You can buy them online or at the gate!

Yes, but i think the cheapest that you will get is 25.00, you make it lucky that you get in for 22 dollars
There may still be tickets available for certain dates through Goldstar, otherwise we offer a coupon for $2.50 off through our website.
Tickets are available online, but we recommend printing them. Our scanners often cannot read the barcodes off phone screens because the contrast isn't high enough in sunlight.
$29.95 ages 13+, $15.00 ages 5-12, free for children age 4-younger!
Yes! All stages have haybale seating. Picnic tables are located in the food court. The joust has metal bleacher style seating.
