It may have been a bad day/moment. I recently found a lost dog in our neighborhood and it was on a Monday, which is a day the SPCA is closed. I called to ask what to do and they sent to volunteers outside to meet me to take the dog. They immediately checked for a chip and I put out flyers in our neighborhood. When I called the next day, which was also A day they were closed, I was informed they opened to let the owner pick up their dog. They were very kind and accommodating, which is important to me as we are more than just animal lovers. I would give them another chance to make a better impression.
I do not work for spca my fiance found their email on Facebook from what I understand. As far as shouting at you well I can not say they did or didn't do that. What I can say is when I was personally in the office they treated us both with respect. Good luck on your new pet if you do get one
