As of Dec 2017, displaced Staff working at the other Santa Rosa Store said there are problems obtaining a permit. Also awaiting a decision by Puerta Vallarta Restaurant site (completely destroyed by the fire next door). If the restaurant owner sells, they will expand the TJs as they rebuild, and expand parking. If not, there are complex issues due to nature of damage onsite and nearby. This is going to take a long time. Sept 2018 Update: The store began a $1.35 Million Reconstruction & Update July 2018, which appears to NOT include the Puerta Vallarta Restaurant site next door. Reconstruction includes new & expanded Refrigeration & HVAC systems, new/improved Bathrooms, and a new Roof & Ceiling (internally), complete with State of the Art Fire Prevention (Sprinklers). While driving by in early September 2018, it appears a lot of the work is done or nearing completion on this site, which has been reconfigured and expanded several times over 20+ yrs. *Expect to Re-open by Fall 2018!*
I got the scoop... reopening in 2018. Old building gonna have to strip it down to the studs and rebuild
Will be for a while. There's a huge backlog of construction work to be done.
Still closed
TJ's on Cleveland Avenue had minor roof damage but don't know when they will open again. I do know though that they donated all their food
As of today 09-06-2018 still closed, and no indication that they will be reopening anytime soon or at all. 😥😥 My favourite Trader Joe's in Sonoma County.
Store is closed until 2018.
It is still closed due to the fires
