There are 2 parking garages within 1 block of the YMCA with full day rates lower than big city rates but still not cheap. I don't know any that provide 24 hour access. You can park in untimed spaces in the neighborhoods about 1/4 mile west of the YMCA. I believe there is a three day limit that might be enforced only if a resident complains. You can also park in the street in the neighborhood a few blocks from the North Berkeley BART station and BART to Berkeley which is a block from the YMCA. The 3-day rule might also apply. There isn't really any good parking close by where you can just leave a car. See of the neighborhoods a few blocks away have overnight parking but you will have to move it during the day because Berkeley has zoned residential parking that requires a sticker
Some of the streets in the neighborhood allow non resident parking (up to 72 hrs) for free, so that is one option.
