My sister had a major stroke and just came out of a coma she has teach and feeding tube. She is so far away and rarely had visits because of the distance. Have any suggestions I live in bellflower she is at San Fernando subacute hospital. Helo

Are you wanting to move her to Rancho Los Amigos? They have an amazing stroke recovery unit. A friend of mine went there, and thanks to them he is making a remarkable recovery. Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center was ranked as the top rehab facility in California in the annual U.S. News and World Report. I would start on the lacounty.gov website, they have questions only you can answer regarding your sister's healthcare.

The only thing I can suggest is for you to either ask a friend or relative to take you to visit her whenever possible or call them at the number they have here to see if they have some other ideas for you to communicate with her. I hope this helps. Good luck!
