Sure. Bart is now, very expensively, to SFO, not across the 101 freeway. Because we have Always been lied to about "Bart being profitable" when in fact it has Always been a mediocre at best, huge waste of public tax money, too slow at 70mph, and extremely incompetently managed with mad costs for new mainframes, new engines because the first were too pointy, new cars over and over that are still too ugly, and major labor problems and now crime victims being Attacked repeatedly on trains. My Last ride was during the Cleaners Strike when you sat in trash and Still could not read the too small station signs or hear the driver's station call! San Jose thinks, has thought it could get an East Bay extension South for almost free! Compare BART to any other advanced nation's mass transit and it falls Way short. Just because Sacramento want to kill our huge cash surpluses with unsat Bart and $6B cost overrun on the new Oakland Bay Bridge, flawed and breaking apart already! Use Caltrain!
