Frosty hollow b&b is about 8 miles north of Cherry Springs on route 44 and is a great place to stay. Elk country visitor center in Benezette is awesome.
The PA grand canyon is quite the cool experience and worth the visit while in the area.
Frosty Hollow B&B is really nice and you are very close to the park.They have a great breakfast and owners are very friendly.
Check out Big Oaks Inn. It's not next door, but short distance by car. It's not expensive and rooms are nice. You have to call. Apart from star gazing, the Susquehannock forest has many scenic spots, incl a lake.
