It's not so much a club upstairs as it is another drinking area with seats and a place for live music. I have never seen restricted access to the upstairs area, always open and free for everyone.

The upstairs room is called the Red Room. There is usually 1 or 2 'big guys' standing at the rope to keep people from wondering up there.. If you weren't in the special list for access to the Red Room, you needed a hand written pass from Mario (RIP). If you managed to get up there you would find an empty wood desk with a couple of chair and 2 very big comfortable leather couches. It's been a long while since I've been I the Red Room. The last time was at the Rainbows 40th birthday party. It was an AWESOME party, a lots of 'names' showed up so the music was amazing. The food is always good..it's not foo-foo food, it's good food. For old times sake I asked Mario for a pass to show my date the Red Room, fortunately nobody was in there. The furniture was the same but there wasn't anybody having an intimate 'session' nor was anybody doing lines of coke on the desk...the evening did heat up later and it was like an 80s after party complete with sex, drugs & rock n roll 😊

No cover. D.j. and sometimes a band. It used to be 5.00 in the nineties to get in upstairs and you would get a drink ticket.

It always seems to be. Have gone right in, no cover.
