I would say Bass Pro is never a bad idea, the drive itself could be a great time to clear your head, and relax a bit from the crazy season.

It's busy or there, of you want to get time for u and buy gifts out there that will be a good idea. Keep in mind freeways will be busy today from all the people traveling to see their families. Good luck.
Make a Day of it! Richie's Diner, VG Christmas Tree, Bass Pro shop, then drive up to see the Christmas lights in Alta Loma.
I would say leave extra early and plan to make a day of it. I can guarantee bass pro shop and the mall across the street will be extremely busy and people trying to rush rush rush so as long as you go into it knowing its going to take some time to get there, shop and go home you should be good
I personally wouldn't do it. The traffic even with simple local driving at this point is utterly insane. It can take 30 minutes to move 1/2 a mile over with all of the traffic, lights... and everyone and their dad running red lights. But hey, that's just me.
Not too bad of an idea, if that's the closest Bass Pro Shop to you I'd say go for it.
It will be very busy but they will still have lots of merchandise.
