I do think she should be seen. I would flush the eye out with saline solution and maybe give her a benadryl. I've had a vet tell me they can take human benadryl, just make sure not to give her too much and look at her weight and find the appropriate dosage. My fur baby is over 100 lbs and they told me to give her an adult dose.
So, are we to ASSume your Boxer, named Joel. That Joel's right eye turned red. That Joel did not appear to be in pain when being touched. But today the eye is more red, with the redness spreading to the gums and lips. Also, Joel is a female. So Luv Muffin, what is the question? Shouldn't you have Joel looked at by a pet medical professional ASAP? The answer, Luv Muffin is yes. Why do you think that it's appropriate or wise to ask, oh anybody concerning your dog, except a professional? I hope this helps.
