Salt water corrodes faster than dropping your phone in the sink. You can try putting it in uncooked rice but it may never be the same if it comes back on at all. Feel free to call the Apple Store and speak to a rep though.

Likely not.
Depends on how long/how much water got into it and phone's water resistance. Try drying it inside rice. There will likely be some remaining adverse effects.
