Is the bar self serve? Asking because there was a gal pouring herself and a male friend beers and sitting at bar drinking? She was a little lewd and kids were in the restaurant.

The bar is NOT self-serve. This is a family owned and operated business and what you probably observed was a family member or other employee enjoying the privilege that comes with such an arrangement. These folks also have a very nice bar in their home where they frequently entertain and this is the same scene you might find there.

Never actually heard of a self serve bar

The bar is not self serve, If the staff would have noticed I'm sure they would have politely asked them to leave.
