I live in nh and I just received a lump sum of money owed to me from my ssi.. do i have to report the money? And if I do will it affect my benefits??

I was told you do not have to report your retro payment as it is a one time payment or sometimes once every 6 months and not a monthly income.

Yes u have to report it. It might affect ur benefits
