They play some sick, twisted game when single moms try to get ANY sort of help. I’ve submitted the same form three times, keep getting told I’m filling it out wrong, and now have to wait until the end of the month to get cash asst. instead of receiving it today, 8/15/22, like I was told I would by three people. Now I’m on the phone with someone bawling my eyes out because I can’t get it until the 30th because it’s apparently my own fault. I probably would’ve been better off pursuing back-pay on child support, even with the DV involved. DHHS has become a joke, they definitely pick and choose who gets help and who doesn’t. I’m a single mom of three and got denied SNAP twice, but a friend of mine has one child and got $1400/monthly in SNAP. Disgusting standards.

I’ve had issue after issue, I call and get hung up on, or I have to re do things I’ve already done because it got there a day late. I’ve set up heady accounts and then when I try to log in I get a message saying my accounts have been deleted. I really wish I could afford our own coverage because New Hampshire state insurance the policies and everything about them is a joke. It’s nice to see I’m not the only one who struggles with them.

Actually, I'm pretty well pleased with the overall experience of this, I love being able to do everything from my phone, it's so, so much better than in person. I just send a message with my information and check back, and it's all set. I bet the people who work at the offices are happy they don't have to listen to all the complaints from everyone. I think it's a way better way to keep everyone calmer, unless you're on hold, but why would you call, don't you have a smart phone? You can get one free

This is so frustrating, nothing has changed. Called last week and they say online changes will happen in 48 hours. Changes never happen. Call back yesterday, claim to get a supervisor, put me on hold, hang up when they close. Today, on hold for an hour, someone picks up. I tell them to get me a supervisor and not put me on hold. They put me on hold and hang up on me. Trying to call again… I am so upset right now.

Call them
He cannot use his NH benefits unfortunately if he gets sick or hurt. But if he you take those bills to the a NH DHHS office after they become bills he may be eligibal for some or all payment. Definitely call NH DHHS and get l names of who you speak to and even extension numbers before you go. I don't think it travels like Medicare
No
I have no idea I was only bringing a friend there
Yes. 8-4pm.
Dcyf always makes it about reunification until the 1 year mark. It's honestly based on the parents. Even if the child doesn't want to see the parents, until the one year mark, dcyf will still push for it no matter what.
No she can't do that to you
I don't know why this got posted to me I don't know what you're talking about I'm sorry for the misunderstanding okay I'm good bye
Yes they will ask for your ID
I just walked in today 7/20/2022, was seen asap, and scheduled for phone interview for 2:15

I was told you do not have to report your retro payment as it is a one time payment or sometimes once every 6 months and not a monthly income.

You now have to apply online for any kind of benefits. You can apply on the NH EASY web site
NH department of health and human services on 40 Terrill Park Dr in Concord will set up the Medicaid. Call or stop in I live close so I stopped in to set up an appointment. They usually will see you in a week or so.
If you find a doctor who takes Medicaid (if that’s what you have) the only other expense is $50 for the card. That’s less than a lot of the products in dispensaries, so if that is too much you won’t be able to afford to use it anyway.
Not that I'm aware of. However, you can take pictures of the forms and upload them to your nh easy account.
If they’re getting benefits from Mass you’ll want to report them to Mass, where their case is.
That is not true, I actually contacted the office and explained myself and what had happened and they told me it would absolutely not change my eligibility for services.
No your not if you have proof about your children been sick and you don't have anyone to watch them
Apply online @ nheasy.gov or stop by the office.
