I didn't feel as if there was a lot of walking. A giant elevator and many sit down/movie displays and opportunities
Since you go at your own pace I didn't see the walking as much of an issue. There is a great deal of information to read so it is stop and go. You can also stop and eat at the premises and then go back to where you left off. Finally I went with someone disabled and they were able to manage the walking albeit at a slower pace.

No there isnt too much walking but you have to walk to the museum to get there.
There are stairs go oj ng up to the lobby, then two more floors. We saw the elevator. The rooms are not huge, but they pack a lot in them. Plenty of places to sit. Go before the flag display is gone, we wish we would have started there (on third floor).
