This is a very common problem. After you have had a denture for a long time the shape of the gums can change a lot. The gums and jawbone usually shrink over time. Often times a new denture is needed, but it's hard to say without a dentist seeing you and examining your mouth. If the gums have decreased a lot, implants are often times needed to help hold the denture in place. If you'd like one of our dental offices to contact you, please let us know. Had great results, my husband had bottom plate issues because of age, it was not fitting.
