I love places where the water is literally just footsteps away...is there any other place like Rick's or Whiskey Joe's where you can eat on the beach...near the river etc casual dining though...nothing fancy smancy

Both are good, depends what you are looking for. Different atmosphere in each but good food and drinks

Yes both places offer eating close to the water, however Whiskey Joe's is a far better choice and experience .. you can bring your boat to Rick's but you'll truly enjoy Whiskey Joe's better
