Tips these days are 18% or 20% for great service however, it is totally unethical to tip yourself. That is grounds for immediate termination! Tell the manager what happened and get an $8 credit applied to your card!
That's not right of them to do that to you. You need to talk to them I know you did not leave her an $8 tip unless the bill was high did you give a 10 or a 15% maybe of the bill.? Waffle House Pleasant
