Street. A few blocks should be worst case.
I have no idea, it was my first ticket /boot since moving here 18 months ago. I did not feel like being a gangster about it so I gave the goofy guy 50 bucks and just went on enjoying my evening. He was hired by the restaurant that owns the parking lot with all the reserved signs(not city house, the other one), and he was a civilian. He also has his cute little poodle with him so I just gave in lol.

Street parking shouldn't be harf to find, unless there's a Sounds (baseball) game. There's also a paid lot across from Germantown Cafe, which may be useful if there's a game. If there's no game free parking should be easy to find.

Street parking is the way to go. You can usually find something within 1 to 2 blocks on the surrounding side streets
