What is that process?
Anyone is welcome to attend services and begin the process of becoming Orthodox. To become an Orthodox Christian, talk with one of the priests. They will walk you through it, but basically you can become a catachumen ( a person studying to become an Orthodox Christian) and take short catachumen classes for about 6 months which teach you the beliefs and practices of the church. People attend church as catachumens, but are not allowed communion until they are baptized and welcomed into the church. To take communion, baptized Orthodox Christians are encouraged to have fasted from food since midnight Saturday, to have said some precommuion prayers, and to have confessed recently (usually within the last month.)
