I mean if you're only available in northern California that's okay, you probably just won't book as much!
It's best to be in southern California as when you register they will show you a general map of the frequently used locations and less frequently used locations. Going out of the region might only book Union extras and then an open call regionally, but it doesn't hurt to go to registration and ask that question in detail during orientation.
Actually I own a business I am going to sell and since my son lives in Irvine... I could work in the LA area after I sell my business. So I was just checking. I was an extra in the movie Phenomenon... with John Travolta years ago.. it was great fun..thought heck many movies have "old ladies"... not grey yet, but not 30 either
