If you are local in Southern California many stores that sell gift cards also sell Disney Passes but they have to be redeemed at the gate. Agree with others that you don't want to buy at gate because it will be a two-step process. 1: wait in line to buy ticket. 2: wait for park gate entry where they take your picture and link it to your ticket. For reason 2 don't buy your ticket from an unverified vendor.
You can also buy tickets at most Disney Store locations just in case you don't want to buy them online but you still want to avoid the long line buying them at the park.
