You're tipping the chefs and the other line cooks that make the sides. If you don't want to tip, don't eat out.
Seems like it would make more sense to just set the food prices at amount that pays them what they need to be paid. We stand in line and clear off our own tables. No level of personal service is provided. Would be better to just charge more.
