We are planning a camping trip end of July in the black mountain boat in camping area. I'm worried about the water level and accesibility. Should we look for alternative camping spots at the lake? Thanks in advance!

You can do it. But, I highly recommend going there beforehand to make sure your party is ready for the hike up from the water to the campsites.

Accessibility shouldn't be a problem, just expect to hike an extra 50 yard up to the campsite. And the large area by the public launch is the only area you can go over 5mph, the rest of the lake is a no wake zone and the sheriff is enforcing that.
