I have looked at some really clean used RV and i have seen some real dogs. If your just starting out a used one may be a good buy till you decide what you really want or even if you like camping .
Yes and no. Had 2 used one here and there needed something to fix. Got a brand new one off the lot with a GPS add in. And it's ok had to take it in serval times for electrical problems still have the problem. So new doesn't always mean better. You need to think what you want to do with it, and what you want in it. See what would be the best thing for you and your family/needs. If money is not the issue then the choice is yours. Just look around get info on the chassis that you are interested in and then just find a company that uses that chassis for your floor plan that you like
We bought a 2017 5th wheel new off the lot and I wanted to get a used one they had at same dealer just because I know there's always a few things that need to be fixed or replaced and a used one more than likely has had things fixed already
If it is still fairly new and has low mileage go for it! It took me a while to get what I wanted but I'm very happy. It was 6 year's old with 19,000 mi. And it was half the original price. It is a 2006 Coachman Thor, 33ft. Class A.
If is in good condition... buy it.!!!
Have to say Chris is correct but we got a used Class A that had less than 50,000 miles on it there was a few things that we did to personalize it for us but anyone would do that any way. Like any major purchase you need to check thing out beast price , best for what you will use it for, and what your need is
Have someone reputable check it out.
Used if fine, just make sure you know what you are buying
Yes
It's just like any other used vehicle. You have to weight the price you pay versus potential future repair costs.
