Yes and no, the grocery dept is small like a corner store, there is limited choices for fresh vegetables and they do not have size varieties for sodas like in Safeway a few blocks away. But if you're too lazy to go to Safeway and dont mind wasting your money on higher prices, yeah they have some things you can settle for. Personally I think it was a bad idea for Target to try to horn-in-to the grocery sales niche because of health code regulations and food safety standards that is industry standard- which makes grocery sales a wholly separate departmental specialty in a department store, which forces the issues of training and compliance that consumers take for granted in grocery stores. You would be appalled at how perishable goods are treated at your typical Target. Especially refrigerated and freezer items, they sit on their pallets thawing - both on the sidewalk, at the loading dock, and in the stock room.
