I see there are paddle boats. Do they allow kayaks?

No, just what they have in the lake. Want to kayak you can go to Jenks lake. Or lake Gregory. Go up hwy 38 towards big Bear lake and city.remember jenks lake is fishing and boats that are not 2 stroke engine..no swimming, it is a fresh water lake and you can even go tubing while fishing. But you must have a current fishing license without it there is a very nasty fine. Please keep the place clean and pick up all your trash. No camp fires allowed anywhere near there but they do have a lot of camp sites. Up and along the road but there is very limited reception for some cell phones, mile marker 71 there is a turn out there is the only place you can call out. and it is bear season and watch out for dear crossing the road mostly at dusk. Rattle snakes are very common. Watch where you walk.also bod cats and cougars. What is good to have is pepper spray. You spray into air if you come in contact with such animals remember you are in there house so be responsible and respectful. Never run.
