There is no river access at River Wilderness Park at 100 N Old San Gabriel Canyon Road, but there are points for water access further into the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument at the East and West Forks. You can see a map of locations in photos.
Can someone tell me were are the directions to go swim at rio azusa
The park is open for hiking but swimming is never allowed. There is no river access due to dangerous conditions. If you want to access the river you must drive 12 miles north up highway 39 to either the East or West Fork.
