No. You can never access the river at the Azusa River Wilderness Park due to dangerous conditions. If you want to go into the river, drive 10 miles north on Highway 39, into the Angeles National Forest and past the dams, to either the East or West Fork.
Not at 100 N Old San Gabriel Canyon Road. For river access you will need to go north above the dams into the Angeles National Forest/San Gabriel Mountains National Monument.
