There is never access to water at "100 Old San Gabriel Canyon Road". If you are looking for access to water on the San Gabriel River, "Oaks Picnic Area" is a good destination, although this location does get crowded and you are advised to leave early. Get a $5 Adventure Pass to park on the trail at the entrance center 1960 San Gabriel Canyon Rd, Azusa, CA 91702
