My Craftsman T 187, Brand New, which I have used for about 3 hours, will not start. It seems the Battery has "died" and it will not restart, even though we have a new battery starter with a New Battery. What is the problem?

Something may be covering the blades on the battery terminals. Check for some protective cover from shipping like plastic wrap. If the terminals are clear on the battery and the tool, put a volt meter on the battery and check voltage. Always be sure to completely charge a new battery before use.

I would definitely take back to the store. It might be defective.

You need to contact directly to where you purchased it. Craftsman have great warranties, they probably will replace it,

Only suggestion is to bring it back to the store for a replacement. Shouldn't be a problem...
