my wok has a bit of rust! I scrubbed too hard-is it salvagable?

If it is cast iron or carbon steel, you should be able to remove the rust with steel wool and re-apply the oil coating, seasoning, with low heat on the stove top or, if there are no wood handles, bake the wok with an oil coating at low heat for 20 to thirty minutes.

Next time you should be more careful. If the colour has been removed, it's better to buy another one.
