I have a HP Stream laptop and when I turn it on, the power light comes on but the screen is black. I tried a reset, but it did not seem to work. Can they fix it quickly?

It ultimately depends on why it is not showing a screen. If we need to order parts it can take a few days to get the parts in. However, we do happen to have a replacement screen in stock and I believe it is the right one for your laptop. If it is simply a matter of replacing the screen (if we have the correct parts in stock), or a crimped or loose wire, we can often fix it in just a few hours. Bring it in and we can take a look.

That once happened to me and it ended up being that my laptop's GPU had died, removing it and just using the integrated worked. If this is the case, it's a pretty quick fix and they could do it.

If the screen is dead it takes a day or 2 to order a new one, but if you need your PC right now look for a external hdmi to hook your laptop to.
