Thanks, you have made some good points. The good news is that Ms Martin connected with me this AM and was wonderful in helping me through the problem. With the exception of the WS store manager, everyone affiliated with Ms. Martin did a great job in helping me out. The gift will be in good hands for Christmas.
not sure who you're addressing this to, Margaret, and I dont work for UPS but question, did you request to have receiver sign for the package or have to go a specific place to pick it up? that person may have to do that. if it comes up "undeliverable" from pickup spot, then it should be returned to sender. I'm assuming its insured, right? 1) try and get hold of the resident at the wrong address to inform them of it coming to them by accident and have them "return to sender" billable to you of course. 2) off chance of catching it, contact final destination distribution center (tracking number on the receipt) to have it return to sender. you might be able to put a note in the tracking to that effect. hope this helps. more likely wont be there where its suppose to be by christmas but hope you get it back.
