Does anyone know of a Vet who will declaw my cat. I'm 72 ans he is scratching me a lot. He is Neutered and an inside 5 month rescue

Declawing is not recommended because it is an amputation of the first bone in the foot. Frequent nail trims and/or nail caps will help as well as having proper scratching posts. Jackson Galaxy's website has many videos and tips/tricks for appropriate play to reduce scratching.

I dont think that declawing a cat is legal now .it is very painful .is your cat escape is not way he can defend itself .Please dont do it !🙏

Declawing is very painful for the cat and could cause him to not use the litter box. Get nail caps for his claws. Ask the vet about it. Watch this YouTube video https://youtu.be/qsa4rV_kntQ
