The garden closes at 4 p.m. However, security stops letting people in at about 3:30. My recommendation is to get there by 3. It takes about 45 minutes to walk the garden at a leisurely pace. Also I would wait another month. The heatwave this summer damaged a lot of plants. I was there two weeks ago and they had removed and pruned many shrubs. Also, if there is any rain, no matter how much, the garden is closed. I hope this helps you.
