As salaam alakuim I would like to know do the imam there officiate the nikahs an if he does will he be able to also sign a civil ( state) marriage licence also license

Wa alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullahi I could sign the civil paper work if I'm a witness. I'm certified to do so.

There is no set Imam...I would suggest go to ICVA...Islamic center of Virginia on Buford road...he is certified in signing the the county licences etc.
