I found parking on mission st.,or,lyft/taxi/uber it if you can. If you are drinking you will want to utilize the above transit options for safety's sake.
Don't drive to Alamo. Take Muni or a car service.
Street parking is tricky and you definitely want to not have items visible.
It does not have dedicated parking but you can Street Park (not recommended) or find parking garages as other people have mentioned.
There's also a garage behind the theater. It's well protected and my go-to.
We parked in metered parking a couple blocks away. I recommend coming early though because the lots and the meter parking fill up really fast, especially on weekends.
I parked down the road in a open metered spot. On my way out a car had a broken window and was robbed. But the young lady stated she left a bag out with a laptop in it. Not a good plan in any metro area.
