One thing to consider when buying tickets for sightseeing, boat rides, etc. Is to check Groupon first, we did a city tour and received about half price tickets just from buying the Groupon first before arriving to the booth to redeem them.

It is an open public space no tickets required.
Ticker for what? The wharf does not require tickets. But there are plenty of boat rides you can take around that area. Also parking you pay when you leave the parking lot. Don't forget to get parking validation.

No need to buy tickets to acess the wharf. Sightseeing cruises or ferry tickets can be purchsed from their respective stands in ir around the wharf.
You can get wharf tickets to boat or round tri bus tickets . For access to the whart alone it is free.
I don't think you need a ticket to be at the wharf. But if you're asking if you can buy boat tour tickets at their stands/booths then yeah you can.
