My son has a AZ driver's license, needs to get a CA DL. AS a auto club member, can he do it at the AAA office? Or does he need to go to the local DMV/

He'll need to go to the DMV. Try making an appointment online. If he needs to go in to a DMV location I'd suggest the location in Stanton on Beach Blvd. It only does a few things one of which is permits and written tests for licensing. No actual driving test though.
