If the car is in your name and you will need the plate # or the vin# if they can see if they will tell you what they see. Now it is true that they are not the DMV so when you get to AAA to pay or the DMV the cost may be a bit different. I have never had that tho. You must have a membership to pay at AAA and they can only take cash or check for DMV fees. Hope this will be helpful
