I know that when I was a resident I could not make calls or receive any mail for 30 days but I did not come from jail or prison and it has been almost 16 yrs since I was in choices so I'm not sure if the rules have changed,,, I will tell you this that if your boyfriend really wants to stop using and stay clean and learn how to live without using he can do it there at choices, I'm truly grateful for the help and for the tools they showed me how to use....hugs
