My patio fire pit will not stay lit once I let go from depressing the dial.
I turn the gas on. I depress and turn the knob that controls the flame and use the ignitor to light the pit. The flame comes on. I let go of knob and flame goes out.

It might be the thermo coupler

First, do you have enough propane in tank? It might ignite but if not enough pressure will go out. Also if it's a freshly refilled tank might take awhile to purge air out of line.
