I've been followed up and down yhe aisles at Wal-Mart and I'm white. I don't think they discriminate. I think they hate everybody equally.
I'm white and they do it to me too !
Sometimes I think employees are following me around but there's no way to be sure. They may just have needed to walk by. Unless they really do follow you aisle to aisle which is not ok & if that happens you can talk to the manager about it. I did that once & the manager was very helpful. It helps if you dont wear baggy clothes and don't bring backpacks, large purses, etc if you can help it. I personally don't mind if they walk past me, just don't stare at me or give me a dirty look, etc. There are just too many people stealing. The stores have to do something, but cameras & security tags don't always do the job. Oh and there are loads of shoplifters that are actually employed somewhere. Even some rich people like Winona Ryder have been caugt stealing. There is a junkie in my neighborhood that has a job & pays taxes but is also a burglar! Also I've known many unemployed people who do not steal. Yes most thieves are unemployed, but certainly not all
All jobs is like that not just Walmart. I went to a local store to buy a few items, the Asian employee follow me and didn't leave my side. Reason being that not all store đź“· is working and people just walk in the store and steal a lot of stuff. Also its the stereotype that they grew up thinking that Hispanics and blacks steal and Asian and white don't steal. Asian and Whites steal but they don't put it on the news. Not all Hispanics and blacks steal. Those with jobs pay and those that don't work steal. I've been there. I know exactly what you mean
