CA only gives you half of what you pay at best. $.10 will get you $.05 if you hand count 50 or less items. One place near my home I was probably only getting $.03 out of every $.10. Welcome to CA, where they screw you every chance they get. Why not be like every other state where you get back what you pay at the register?
The plastic has to have a CRV on it to be redeemable, Crv is what you pay at stores that's the refund. (CRV= California Redemption Value).
