I've been going to Mike's for years and have never been disappointed. They're fast and efficient and always friendly. Edit: due to a number of reasons, including COVID distancing of its employers and the closing of a nearby competitor, Mike's has seen a huge increase in business and a substantial increase in wait times. I went there last week, on a Monday, and it took very close to 2 hours to get through the process. I hope Mike's can find a way to speed the process back up and get back to its normal quick service. Taking two stars off for much slower service. 7/2022 update: Now that COVID and it's distancing requirements has wound down, Mike's has returned to their typical, efficient ways and have re-earned the full 5 star rating from me.

Way too slow took me 1 Hour on a Wednesday Morning. I used to like the service because it was fast you would come in and out.

Didn't weigh some of my product took it to the side and only gave me some to weigh and of course same price as always for a big load which is always around 75$ even though I know for a fact I brought 25% more in than usual should of easily been 100$

This location the service we used to be really good. They would sort your recyclables no problem they were sure that all your stuff stay together, today my stuff is all over the place I don’t even know if I got my full amount of money they no longer sort and they’re kind of rude but what do you expect from a recycling place I’m happy I turned in my six month of recycling but now I’m done they ruin the experience everything is going in the trash

Yes They Do.
No, just seperated from plastic and aluminum.
Yes, they take plastic bottle caps. I leave them on after crushing the plastic bottles to conserve space in my collection bin.
Yes you can walk into the place. Just bring your recycke sorted because they aren't taking mixed recycle anymore.
It's sort of a combination of both. If you have a large number of heavy items, they have you pull to the side and place a palate next to your car. For bottles and cans, cars just lineup. All depends what you got and if your in a hurry or not.
Yes I believe .05cents a pound
Yed
Yes the do .
Best to call not more than 1.00
They should
Yes, Mike's Recycling accepts cardboard boxes at this location. I'm sure they have to be broken down prior to drop off. The last time I saw someone come through with cardboard boxes, they had them broken down and placing them in the cardboard compressing machine.
Yeah its better i think take it apart proba going to get more
Yes
Goes by weight, unless they pay price on the bottle.
They pay by the pound for various types of materials. You can check their website for exact price/lb. on what they will accept
They were open that day
CA only gives you half of what you pay at best. $.10 will get you $.05 if you hand count 50 or less items. One place near my home I was probably only getting $.03 out of every $.10. Welcome to CA, where they screw you every chance they get. Why not be like every other state where you get back what you pay at the register?
I believe they do
