FYI on 6/1/18 we bought 80/20 ground beef for $2.14 a pound and Stater Bros. had it for $5.79. Well worth the drive. We bought over 9 pounds in one large chub and divided it up.

Anyone who shops the "Commissary" knows one thing for certain: one day they have something....the next day they don't! Any response to availability is subject to change. If you are going to go there for one specific thing, chances are you will either be disappointed or the price will be substantially higher than on the outside. Especially when you figure in your gas, time and the surcharge. If you see it somewhere else and you like it, just buy it and forget the Commissary!
